FutureReady Leaders: Preparing Youth for Tomorrow's Workplace

Program Overview

FutureReady Leaders is a forward-thinking youth leadership program designed to equip high school-aged students with the skills and experiences they need to thrive in the rapidly changing, technology-dependent workplace of the future. The program focuses on nurturing essential soft skills and providing hands-on exposure to AI, communication technologies, project management technologies and time management tools and emerging technologies.

Essential Skills Identification

The FutureReady Leaders program will concentrate on the development of six crucial soft skills:

1.       Leadership: Inspiring, guiding, and influencing others towards shared goals.

2.       Communication: Effectively expressing, interpreting, and sharing complex ideas, including proficiency in digital communication tools and public speaking skills.

3.       Teamwork: Collaborating effectively in diverse and virtual teams. This will include Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging (DEIB) principles

4.       Problem-Solving: Applying analytical and creative thinking to solve complex problems, including those related to AI and technology.

5.       Resilience: Managing mental health, coping with rapid changes, setbacks, and failures, and learning from these experiences.

6.       Adaptability: Embracing new technologies, work methods, and roles in the evolving economy.

Through the FutureReady Leaders program, we aim to empower our youth with the skills, knowledge, and experiences they need to lead and succeed in the workplace of the future.
